Friday 1st April - Canterbury tales #2 - Whitstable

After a morning sorting boring but essential post house sale stuff we caught a local bus to Whitstable. Lovely old world feel to the town, reminiscent of Aldeburgh or Southwold. Great fish and chips lunch overlooking harbour followed by exploring the town, alleyways and comely castle gardens.

Met up with an old work colleague of Ray's for a fun gossipy evening in The Monument pub. The bus ride home was mercifully brief considering the amount of alcohol sloshing about in us.

Thank you for stopping by and reading our blog. If you don’t know who we are, what we are doing and you're wondering what this is all about you can read up on our project here.

We aim to produce a daily blog chronicling our adventures; however we can’t make firm commitments about the frequency because real life and intermittent Wi-Fi will doubtless intrude. Nevertheless we do promise frequent updates and plenty of pictures.
